About Paul

An accomplished ballroom dancer for nearly two decades, BDC online instructor Paul Barris loves everything about dance - from performing to choreographing to teaching lessons.

Since starting his dance career at the age of 10, Paul has traveled the world to compete - including winning the "Super Bowl" of dance championships, the British Open, in 2000.

Today, this passionate dancer with a wide breadth of skill is bringing his talent to BDC, where he teaches online ballroom dance lessons to students around the world.
